As a practicing primary care and mental health physician for nearly twenty years, I am well aware of the challenges our community experiences in the areas of health and wellness. I have treated thousands of patients with obesity, diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, autoimmune diseases, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Medication has been a helpful tool for patients to ameliorate the symptoms, however, oftentimes the root cause is not addressed. I recognize the urgent need to shift in the approach to treating chronic diseases stated above and become the person at the top of the proverbial waterfall addressing the cause of the babies falling down below into the river, in addition to being the one to help them once they have fallen over. In that vein, I am ecstatic to be a part of helping individuals, families, communities, agencies and organizations to experience ~Pristine Health~
