Enzyme Sciences’ GI Soothe features alginate, or alginic acid, a viscous compound found in the cell walls of brown algae. In the stomach, this gelling substance works like a raft, floating on top of the acid pocket of stomach contents after a meal.

This “raft” keeps the acid from entering the esophagus.* When acid can’t enter the esophagus, it not only helps with soothing the sensation of occasional heartburn but also the tissue of the esophagus is allowed the opportunity to rebuild.*

Paired with the alginate, GI Soothe is formulated with natural buffering agents, calcium carbonate, trimethylglycine, and prickly pear cactus. Together, these ingredients act as a barrier and buffer for gastric acid while also soothing the gastrointestinal tract lining.* Multiple clinical trials have shown a natural approach can be safe and efficacious.

 

Suggested Use:
Chew 1-2 tablets after every meal that causes discomfort. Take at least one hour after any medications. Do not exceed 6 tablets daily. Natural Speckling may offer.
