Minerals are not produced in the body and must be supplied by the diet. Minerals are constituents of bones, teeth, soft tissue, muscle, blood and nerve cells. They are important factors in maintaining physiological processes, strengthening skeletal structures and preserving the vigor of the heart and brain as well as all muscle and nerve systems. Minerals are likely to be deficient in the American diet, so it is important to supplement. Trace-Min Plus is a high potency of minerals with: Vitamins D, B-6; and glutamic acid HCl. Minerals are utilized more efficiently in the acid medium, hence the addition of glutamic acid HCl. Calcium assimilation is enhanced by Vitamin D, and Vitamin B-6 enhances that of magnesium and potassium.
