According to the Materia Medica the following remedies in Varicose Veins~Phlebitis may be administered for the following conditions:
Aesculus hippocastanum: Varicose veins of purple color; Venous stasis in general.
Bryonia: Disorders the circulation, producing congestion; Liver disorders; Pins and needles in soles, preventing walking.
Calcarea fluorica: Veins dilate and become varicose inflamed.
Carduus marianus: Varicose veins and ulcers; Broken or hard thrombosed veins; Has specific relation to vascular symptoms.
Cholesterinum: Leg cramps; Hepatic engorgements.
Cinchona officinalis: Impaired circulation producing congestion and hemorrhage; Varicose veins.
Crotalus horridus: Varicose veins; Phlebitis.
Digitalis purpurea: Sensation as if a red hot wire suddenly darted through legs; Veins distended on face.
Echinacea: Blood disorders; Old tibial ulcers.
Elaps corallinus: Disorganized blood; Left foot swollen and blue, with red spots.
Hamamelis virginiana: Principle action on the veins producing congestion, varicose veins, hemorrhoids and hemorrhages; Acts upon the coats of the veins causing relaxation with consequent engorgement; Phlebitis.
Hydrofluoricum acidum: Varicose veins; Atony of capillary and venous systems.
Lachesis mutus: Capillaries dilated; Varicose ulcers; Cellulitis.
