Dr. Alessandra Young D.Ac., DAEAM

Alessandra Young is the owner of, and principal practitioner at Retreatment Wellness in Millcreek, Utah. She’s a Doctor of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine who combines traditional wisdom with modern integrative care to help patients look and feel their best. Alessandra earned her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, California, graduating cum laude. During her training, she gained advanced experience in Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture for treating pain, anxiety, and addiction. She also completed an externship at the Roy and Patricia Disney Cancer Center at Providence Hospital in Burbank. Eager to deepen her understanding of both Eastern and Western medical approaches, Alessandra went on to complete her Doctorate at the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, graduating with distinction. This program focused on integrative healthcare, evidence-based research, and advanced Western diagnostics—skills that continue to inform her patient care today. In August 2025, Alessandra became a Diplomate in TCM Dermatology and is currently the only practitioner in Utah certified by the Association of Holistic TCM Dermatology. This certification represents mastery in advanced herbal formulation and the treatment of complex skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and topical steroid withdrawal (TSW). At Retreatment Wellness, Alessandra offers treatments that honor the body, mind, and spirit. Her cosmetic acupuncture treatments naturally lift and tone the face—enhancing the cheeks, brows, and jawline while softening fine lines and brightening the complexion. She loves helping patients feel renewed from the inside out and is passionate about showing how true wellness and natural beauty are deeply connected.
