Mycotoxins Profile

This is my favorite mycotoxin test for young children, because it's not a blood test. It will check for many of the major mycotoxins in the urine to let us know if the child has a lot of mycotoxins in their body, either from a current or past exposure. If they do, it should be treated because mycotoxins can otherwise remain in the body for many years, making a person sick. For older children, teens, and adult, I much prefer the MyMyco Lab Mycotoxin Antibody test, which is a blood test. RealTime Lab’s Mycotoxins Profile detects sixteen of the most toxigenic mycotoxins, including 9 macrocyclic trichothecenes that have been proven to be caused by Stachybotrys, otherwise known as “Black Mold.” Testing is done using competitive ELISA, a highly sensitive detection method that uses antibodies prepared against mycotoxins.
