After purchase, the lab order gets emailed to you. You don’t have to see your provider and you’ll know the amount that you’re going to pay (less than $200) and don’t have to worry about what your insurance is going to cover (or not). All blood tests need to be fasting on water only (nothing to eat or supplements after midnight) and completed first thing in the morning (ideally). Drinking ½-1 liter (32 oz) of water from the time you wake up to the blood draw will make it easier to draw your blood and give you more accurate results.
