I'm Jen Felix, a ReCODE 2.0–certified and national board–certified health coach focused on brain health. Since January 2018, I've worked mostly with people preventing dementia or addressing early cognitive symptoms through diet and lifestyle. Together we take a close look at your brain health goals, history, and preferences, then collaboratively prioritize and upgrade the factors at the root of cognitive health — nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress resilience, cognitive stimulation, toxin reduction, oral health, and supplements, among others. My approach is grounded in evolutionary medicine: aligning how you live with the conditions your brain and body actually evolved for. While prescribing supplements isn't within a coach's scope, I draw on my 14 years as a cell biologist to help you understand which brain health supplements are most impactful, evidence-based, and cost-effective. I also offer direct-to-consumer lab testing, so you can complete the Bredesen Protocol's comprehensive assessment beyond what your regular doctor orders. Working from my home office keeps my rates affordable and lets me step out for sunshine, nature, and picking fresh fruits and vegetables from my garden as part of my own daily brain health protocol.
