Latent EBV Panel
This focused panel evaluates your antibody response to Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), the virus commonly associated with mononucleosis. It helps your provider assess patterns of past or recent infection and whether further evaluation for possible reactivation is appropriate. This panel supports The Wellness Lounge’s Hidden Infections Program, providing a targeted starting point when your provider is considering EBV as part of an evaluation for persistent symptoms. Results are reviewed alongside your symptoms and medical history to guide additional testing, follow-up, and personalized care recommendations. EBV antibodies can remain positive long after an infection has resolved. Early Antigen IgG may also persist in healthy individuals, so a positive result alone does not confirm reactivation or establish EBV as the cause of your symptoms. Provider interpretation is essential before treatment decisions are made.
