Prostate Screening

PSA Testing – Prostate Health Screening The Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) blood test measures a protein produced by the prostate gland and helps assess prostate health. PSA testing may assist in screening for prostate cancer, evaluating certain prostate conditions, and monitoring prostate health in men receiving testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Elevated PSA levels can occur with prostate enlargement, inflammation, infection, or prostate cancer. An abnormal result does not automatically indicate cancer.
