Holistic Functional Nutritionist Amanda Thomas

I’m Amanda Thomas, a Holistic Functional Nutritionist and Faith Based Life Coach with nearly two decades of experience in health and wellness, beginning my career in sports medicine and expanding into functional nutrition and integrative health. My approach is evidence based, individualized, and root cause focused. Rather than viewing symptoms in isolation, I consider the whole person and the interconnected systems that influence health, including nutrition, metabolic function, gut health, hormones, stress, lifestyle, and environmental factors. I believe the body is remarkably designed with an innate capacity for healing and restoration when its foundational needs are appropriately supported. My professional perspective is also informed by extensive firsthand experience navigating many of the health challenges and therapeutic approaches I now support in practice. This lived experience provides a unique depth of understanding and empathy while complementing evidence based clinical principles, ongoing education, and individualized care. I combine nutrition and lifestyle strategies, targeted professional supplementation, education, and practical guidance to help clients better understand their bodies and become active participants in their health. My goal is to look beyond symptom management, ask better questions, connect the dots, and support the underlying foundations necessary for the body to function at its best.
