Iron Panel
Iron status is more than one number. This panel gives the fuller picture — stores, transport, and how iron is showing up in your blood — because a single ferritin or iron reading can mislead, and iron metabolism is too complex to judge from one marker. It's essential for endurance athletes, who run low more often than most. Use it as a periodic checkpoint, and especially before altitude: test 12 weeks out, so there's time to correct a deficiency before your body has to build red blood cells.
