There are many types and brands of fiber out there and even Standard Process has a few but I personally feel that Gastro-Fiber is superior to them all. I am not sure why it is so much better but it is. I like to think of a fiber supplement in this way: -you need about 5-6 servings of vegetables/fruits a day. So if you get that much, then you don't really need a supplement, However, if you are like most of us, you fall short some days. That is when gastro-fiber comes in. I think of one capsule as one serving. So if I had 4 servings of vegetables and fruits, then I take 2 gastro-fiber to make up the difference. If you're really bad and have none, then you would take 6 capsules that day.
