"Vitamin C is a powerhouse nutrient for immune support, supercharging our immune cells to fight the fight! I find the key to effective Vitamin C immune support is taking a maintenance dose and increasing to a high dose immediately upon symptoms of illness or exposure to illness. With symptoms, I take 2 capsules 4-6x/day. With exposure, I take 2 capsules, 3x/day. In recovery, I take 2 capsules, 3x/day. For maintenance immune support, I take 1 capsule, 1-2x/day. Note: high dose vitamin C can cause loose stools and/or abdominal grumbling. Reduce dose if you find symptoms uncomfortable."

Additional notes

"Zinc plays an important role in our immune response, helping our body produce the immune cells - the soldiers of our immune system - that fight bacteria and viruses. Zinc is best absorbed when taken with food. I take 1 capsule, 2-3x/day with first signs of infection. I take 1 capsule, 2x/day with exposure to illness. Unlike Vitamin C, you don't want to supplement with zinc on a daily basis unless your lab tests show a need for daily replenishment. Short term use without lab testing is unlikely to cause any problems. Note: zinc can cause stomach upset in some people. Taking it with a meal typically minimizes symptoms. "
