"For impending cold/flu or known exposure. Tablespoon every 3 hours. (heaping teaspoon for kids). You can take straight or mix in hot water and drink as tea. For sore throats I actually prefer straight because it seems to coat the tonsils in a soothing way."

"1-2 soft gels are the usual daily dose but 4 when you are sick. You can cut and squeeze out if you can't swallow gels. Contains fat-soluble vitamins so best taken with food."

"This one is powerful, your kids won't like it much. Spray extract into the back of the throat 3-5 times every 10-15 minutes as needed in first day or two of sore throat. Then hourly for up to 8 hours per day. Shake well before using. For short-term use. If you're not feeling better in 2 days, and/or suspect strep throat do NOT postpone conventional care."

"Andrographis combination I like because of the hearty dose of Andrographis plus adaptogens to help stamina in the recovery, and resolution phase. Take 1 capsule every 2 hours for 12 hours for 2 days--don't interrupt sleep just add missed pills, take them preferably with food, then 3 capsules per day for 5 days"
