Dosing is highly variable and researched doses for animals are often extremely high although those studies were done in pets who were eating highly processed and inflammatory food (kibble) and not getting any other anti-inflammatory treatments like laser, acupuncture, etc so I think it's ok to go towards the lower end but that is still quite a bit higher than doses for people. These capsules contain 1000 mg EPA +DHA per capsule. Dose is about 1/2 capsule a day for cats. For dogs dose is about 1 capsule a day for dogs under 20 lbs, 2 capsules a day for dogs 20-40 lbs, 3 capsules a day for dogs 41-60 lbs, 4 capsules a day for dogs 61-80 lbs, 5 capsules a day for dogs over 80 lbs"

"MCTs (Medium Chain Triglycerides) are fatty acids shorter than Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids and therefore processed different by the body. This different processing produces ketones and can change levels of other fatty acids in the body. MCTs have shown some benefits for cognitive function in people and animals. This liquid concentrated version of MCT contains about 1 gram of MCT per 1/4 tsp, and about 9 Calories per 1/4 tsp. Dosing is still not well understood but a starting point would be 1/4 tsp a day for pets up to 10 lbs, 1/2 tsp a day for pets 10-20 lbs, 3/4 tsp a day for pets 21-30 lbs, 1 tsp a day for pets 31-40 lbs, 1.25 tsp a day for pets 41-50 lbs, 1.5 tsp a day for pets 51-60 lbs, 1.75 tsp a day for pets 61-70 lbs, 2 tsp a day for pets 71-80 lbs, 3 tsp a day for pets over 80 lbs"
