"UC-II works through immune modulation (oral tolerance), so dosing is not strictly weight-based. More is not better—stay within recommended ranges. Give once daily on an empty stomach for best results. Cats: → ~5–10 mg daily → Open capsule and give approximately 1/8–1/4 capsule per day Dogs: 10–20 lbs → ~10 mg daily → 1/4 capsule per day 21–40 lbs → ~10 mg daily → 1/4 capsule per day 41–60 lbs → ~10–20 mg daily → 1/4–1/2 capsule per day 61–80 lbs → ~20 mg daily → 1/2 capsule per day 80+ lbs → ~20–40 mg daily → 1/2–1 capsule per day Tips: Give on an empty stomach (away from food and other proteins) Do not give at the same time as collagen supplements (separate by a few hours) Stay consistent—results typically build over 4–8 weeks Works best when combined with a full joint support plan (omega-3s, joint formulas, etc.)"
