Hi Pathways to Wellness members! The Standard American Diet (SAD) lacks many essential vitamins and vital nutrients our bodies need to function properly. Many of these nutrients, such as EPA/DHA and Magnesium, are difficult to source in adequate amounts from even the cleanest of whole-food diets. These are the nutritional supports that we recommend for foundational health. Several of these bottles contain a 2-3 month supply. Included are the product info sheet for each supplement on this list. These very informative resources explain what is in each supplement and how it may benefit you.

Hello friends, we are commonly asked by our patients if supplements are necessary for optimal health and if so what are our recommendations for the basics. To address the first question on the necessity of supplements we have to look at 2 key factors. 1. Fruits and vegetables today are much less nutrient dense than they were 50 years ago. 2. The conditions of modern day living i.e. SAD diet, environmental toxins/pollutants, chronic stress, prescription medications, and chronic disease etc lead to a much higher need for vitamins and minerals This creates quite a disconnect that frequently requires supplementation to improve While supplements are completely optional in this program here are the foundational supplements I recommend to most all of my patients. I have attached the product info sheet for each supplement so you can read more about them.
