    Here's a list of options for supporting balanced histamine and mast cell stabilization during early postpartum when these symptoms can be most prominent. These symptoms can range from increased pain, slow perineal healing, inflammation, headaches, skin flares, and digestive upset. Depending on your specific needs, I've included PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) blends in capsules and chewable options, plus options for mast cell stabilizing herbals on their own or in a blend such as perilla, luteolin, quercitin, and stinging nettle. PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) is an excellent option if you are new to mast cell stabilizers. You can read more about this compound here. I've also included a few options for supplemental bicarbonate minerals as an option as these can also be supportive, as well as a rehydration support I use which I find to be helpful in situations where dehydration is exacerbating histamine symptoms.
