Male Hairloss Package
This package checks selected blood, nutrient, thyroid, and hormone markers for men concerned about hair thinning or shedding. It includes a complete blood count to assess blood cells; iron, total iron binding capacity, and ferritin to evaluate iron availability and stores; and TSH to assess thyroid function. Vitamin B12 and vitamin D testing check for potential deficiencies, while free and total testosterone with SHBG provide information about testosterone levels and its binding protein. This panel does not diagnose male-pattern baldness, measure hair follicle sensitivity to hormones, or identify every cause of hair loss. Finding a deficiency or hormone abnormality does not necessarily mean it is causing your hair loss.
