Perimenopausal / Menopausal Hormone Package

This package measures estradiol (E2), progesterone, FSH, LH, testosterone, and DHEA-S to provide information about reproductive and androgen hormone levels during the menopausal transition. Estradiol and progesterone reflect aspects of ovarian activity, while FSH and LH are pituitary signals that help regulate ovarian function. Testosterone and DHEA-S provide additional information about androgen levels. Hormones can fluctuate significantly during perimenopause, so a single blood draw cannot reliably confirm or rule it out. Menopause is usually identified from age, symptoms, and menstrual history rather than hormone testing alone. Birth control and hormone therapy can affect results.
