Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday - Friday only.
Your blood sample must be shipped on dry ice.
- Please reach out to the phlebotomist to see if they will provide dry ice or if you need to provide it.
- Access will provide you with a styrofoam cooler for the dry ice sample.

Avoid eating fruits or taking Vitamin C supplements for 24 hours before your blood draw.
Please hydrate before your blood draw.
Fasting for 12 hours before your blood draw is required.
- Fasting before a blood draw means you don't eat or drink anything except water.
- Your doctor should provide any special instructions related to fasting for your test. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
