Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday - Friday only.

Your blood sample must be shipped on dry ice.

Please reach out to the phlebotomist to see if they will provide dry ice or if you need to provide it.
Access will provide you with a styrofoam cooler for the dry ice sample.

Please hydrate before your blood draw.

Do not eat fruits or take vitamin C supplements for 24 hours before your blood draw.

Fasting for 12 hours before your blood draw is preferred but not required.

Fasting before a blood draw means you don't eat or drink anything except water.
Your doctor should provide any special instructions related to fasting for your test. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
