Estimated days for results: Results should arrive 10 business days after the lab receives samples.

All Alcat tests measure innate immune cell activation following ex vivo challenges of the whole blood with foods, chemicals, and other substances. Delayed-type hypersensitivity reactions are the effect of multiple pathogenic pathways, of which the innate immune cells reflect a final common pathway. Thus, the Alcat test is a sensitive and specific marker for non-IgE-mediated hypersensitivity and toxic reactions to foods, chemicals, and other substances.

The Platinum Plus Panel evaluates leukocyte reactivity to 370 foods, herbs, molds, food additives/colorings, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatory agents.
