Gut-Brain Barrier Health Screen: Array 2 + Array 20 + Array 22
Cyrex
Sample type: Serum
Requires fasting: No
Phlebotomy is required for this test
Details
This test measures IgG, IgA, and IgM antibodies against bacterial toxins, tight junction and cytoskeletal proteins (Array 2, 22), and blood-brain barrier proteins (Array 20). It detects disturbance of gut flora in the small and large intestine, and damage done to the gut and blood-brain structures that set the stage not only for leaky gut and leaky brain, but for the development of SIBO/IBS, inflammation, autoimmunity, neuroautoimmunity, and neurodegenerative disorders.
