Details
This is a single-marker test measuring 25-hydroxy-vitamin D. This test is used for patients with low calcium levels, symptoms of vitamin D deficiency, or diseases that interfere with fat absorption, such as cystic fibrosis or Crohn's disease. This test also monitors the effectiveness of vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, or phosphorus supplementation.
