Before You Start
- Please read the test collection instructions carefully.
2 Days Before Collection
- It is recommended that high-dose biotin be discontinued, as it is a direct interferent and may cause false high or low results.
- DO NOT discontinue any prescription medications without first consulting your healthcare provider.
Night Before Collection
- Freeze the provided freezer brick for at least 8 hours.
- Fast overnight before your blood draw.
- Fasting means you don't eat or drink anything except water.
- Your doctor should provide any special instructions related to fasting for your test. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
