This test is used to identify Babesia pathogens via culture-enhanced PCR (cePCR). The sample is first incubated in media so microorganisms in the blood can grow and multiply, then it is tested by PCR.

Before You Start

- Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist.
- Your sample must be drawn and shipped on the same day, Monday - Wednesday only.
