The Babesia IgM ImmunoBlot detects IgM antibodies to Babesia antigens in the serum of patients suspected of having a Babesia infection. For diagnostic purposes, the Babesia ImmunoBlot test results should be used in conjunction with clinical symptoms and other evidence available to the diagnosing practitioner.
