Details
This screen detects chronic and ongoing infection with four major herpes viruses (EBV, CMV, HSV-1, HSV-2) that are involved in different inflammatory autoimmune and neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, and neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barré syndrome and multiple sclerosis. Reactivation of these viruses is a major driver in increasing the severity of symptoms in patients with COVID-19.

Before You Start
- Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist, Monday through Friday only.
- You do not need to fast before sample collection.

- Hydrate before your blood draw.
- Ensure the phlebotomist follows the provided test collection instructions.
