Before You Start
- Please read the provided test collection instructions.
- For patients currently taking antibiotics,
- If you would like to know the effects of antibiotics or antivirals on your microbiome, you can collect your sample as soon as 2 weeks after completing treatment.
- If you do not want to assess these effects, wait 1 month after completing treatment before collecting your sample.
- DO NOT discontinue any prescription medication without consulting your healthcare provider.
After Collection
- Store your sample at room temperature. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
- Jona recommends shipping your sample as soon as you can.
- After collection, your sample can remain stable in the Collection Tube for up to 90 days at room temperature.
