Precision Point Diagnostics' Adrenal Stress Test measures 4-point cortisol and secretory IgA (sIgA) in a convenient saliva specimen. Cortisol has been found unbound in saliva samples, indicating a strong correlation to cortisol concentrations in serum. Checking patients for low or high cortisol over the course of the day is essential to address fatigue, insomnia, thyroid disorders, or weight gain.

Before You Start

Day of Collection
  • DO NOT take DHEA on the morning of sample collection.
  • DO NOT eat or drink anything but water for 1 hour before each of your sample collections.
  • Your first sample collection should be done within 30 minutes of waking.
  • You will collect four samples throughout one day.
