Precision Point Diagnostics' Advanced Intestinal Barrier Assessment (AIBA) takes a deep dive into intestinal barrier function. Using a collection of innovative biomarkers, this test helps clinicians determine if their patients have intestinal permeability, or “leaky gut.” Intestinal permeability has been suggested as a root cause of autoimmune diseases, systemic inflammation, and food sensitivities.

Before You Start
- Please read the test collection instructions carefully.
- Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist.
- Ship your sample Monday - Wednesday ONLY.
Day Before Collection
- Fast for 12 hours before your blood draw.
- Fasting before a blood draw means you don't eat or drink anything except water.
- Your doctor should provide any special instructions related to fasting for your test. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
- Freeze the provided ice pack for at least 4-6 hours before your blood draw.
