Gut/Ox Stress
Precision Point Diagnostics
Sample type: Bloodspot, Saliva, Urine
Requires fasting: No
At home test
Details
This test examines the interplay of oxidative stress with markers of gut function and dysbiosis. The analytes trace the path of gut perturbation influenced by oxidative stress, inflammation in the gut and systemically, and the weakening of tight junctions between cells in the intestines (“leaky gut”) in a patient. Having this sort of comprehensive surveillance of gut and oxidative health together can be a game changer for diagnosis and treatment of some of the most difficult to analyze root causes in a patient.
