Bilirubin, Total - This test measures the combined amount of both direct (conjugated) and indirect (unconjugated) bilirubin in the blood. This test is used to evaluate liver function and in the diagnosis and treatment of liver, hemolytic, hematologic, and metabolic disorders, including hepatitis and gallbladder obstructive disease.
