Comprehensive Female Panel - The Comprehensive Female Panel measures the levels of several hormones and other markers to provide a comprehensive assessment of a patient's health.

  • Women's health

Specimen collection after fluorescein dye angiography should be delayed for at least 3 days. For patients on hemodialysis, specimen collection should be delayed for 2 weeks.

Dietary supplements containing biotin may interfere in assays and may skew results to be either falsely high or falsely low. For patients receiving the recommended daily doses of biotin, draw samples at least 8 hours following the last biotin supplementation. For patients on mega-doses of biotin supplements, draw samples at least 72 hours following the last biotin supplementation.

Fasting for 9-12 hours before your blood draw is required.
  • Fasting before a blood draw means you don't eat or drink anything except water. 
  • Your doctor should provide any special instructions related to fasting for your test. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
