Creatinine, Random Urine - This test measures the level of creatinine in your urine. Creatinine is a waste product produced by your muscles from the breakdown of a compound called creatine. This test is often used to check kidney function. A random urine sample is used, meaning the sample can be collected at any time. No special preservatives are needed.
