DNA (ds) Antibody - This test measures the presence of anti-double-stranded DNA (ds-DNA) antibodies in the blood. Positive dsDNA Antibody is detected in patients with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and approximately 20% of patients with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and can help in diagnosing the autoimmune conditions and detect disease flares.
