Lynch Syndrome Panel - Lynch syndrome is a leading cause of inherited colon cancer, affecting 2% to 4% of all cases of colorectal and endometrial cancer. This test looks for specific genetic changes (pathogenic variants) in the MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PMS2, and EPCAM genes that can indicate Lynch syndrome.

What type of sample is required for this test?
A 5 mL whole blood sample is needed, which can be collected in an EDTA (lavender-top) or ACD (yellow-top) tube.
