Details
TruAge is an epigenetic test that assesses biological age, organ system aging, and pace of aging from a single blood sample. It combines three independently published epigenetic age clocks — OMICmAge™ (Harvard), SymphonyAge™ (Yale), and DunedinPACE™ (Duke) — to produce 14 unique age outputs across 11 mapped organ systems. Results are designed to support baseline assessment, care planning, and longitudinal monitoring alongside conventional labs.

Estimated days for results: Results should arrive 21 business days after the lab has received the sample.
TruAge is built on published, peer-reviewed algorithms rather than proprietary black-box scoring, and demonstrates an average ICC greater than 0.98 in independent validation — supporting high retest reliability and making it suitable for tracking change over time. DunedinPACE in particular is designed to assess pace of aging and supports monitoring over 3–6 month intervals.
In practice, TruAge is most useful when a provider needs to answer questions such as:
- What is this patient's biological age relative to chronological age?
- Which organ systems are aging faster than others?
- Is the current care plan moving the patient's biology in the right direction?
Recommended retesting cadence is every 3 months for patients on an active intervention or optimization protocol, every 6 months for ongoing monitoring, and annually for long-term maintenance.
Collection is a single blood sample, completed at home. For optimal interpretability, collect when the patient is in a stable health state; allow at least three weeks following acute illness, injury, or a major health event where possible.
TruAge is a wellness test intended to provide epigenetic and biological-aging insights that support provider-guided wellness planning, patient education, lifestyle-focused care, and longitudinal monitoring. It is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions, or in the cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease.
