- Please read the provided test collection instructions.
- You or your child must not have taken antibiotics within the past 4 weeks.
- For newborn testing, wait until your baby is at least 7 days old before collecting the sample.
- If you prefer results without probiotic influence, you may pause probiotic use for 3–5 days before collection (optional).
2 Weeks Before Collection
- Stop taking the following medications unless instructed otherwise by your provider:

- NSAIDs
- DO NOT discontinue any prescription medication without consulting your healthcare provider.
3 Days Before Collection

- Digestive enzymes
- Detox or liver herbs and minerals
- Amino acids
- DO NOT discontinue any prescription medication without consulting your healthcare provider.
2 Days Before Collection
- Follow your normal diet.
- If possible, include the following foods:
- Meat
- Fish
- Poultry
- Vegetables (raw and cooked)
- Carbohydrates (potatoes, rice, pasta, bread)
- Fats (butter, margarine, oils)
- If you do not eat some of these foods, you can still complete the test.
- Vegetarians and vegans should continue their normal diet.
Day of Collection
- Ensure all patient information is fully completed on the collection tube.
- Store specimens in the refrigerator until ready for transport. DO NOT FREEZE.
