Before You Start
3 Days Before Collection
Day of Collection
- Read the provided test collection instructions carefully.
- Watch the test collection video.
- If you are a man, child, or non-menstruating woman, you can collect your sample at any time.
- If you are a menstruating woman,
- Regular cycles: Collect on Day 19, 20, or 21 of your cycle (where Day 1 is the first day of your period).
- Irregular cycles: Collect 5 days before your period starts.
- Unpredictable cycles: Collect any non-bleeding day.
- Talk to your healthcare provider if you are taking steroids. They may affect test results.
3 Days Before Collection
- DO NOT use vaginal hormones.
- DO NOT take biotin/vitamin B7.
Day of Collection
- Avoid the following activities until you have collected your first sample.
- Eating
- Drinking
- Taking vitamins or supplements
- Taking medications, including morning hormone doses
- Avoid taking evening hormone doses until you have collected all samples.
- DO NOT drink more than 8 oz of water in the hour before each sample collection.
