    TRAVELERS DIARRHEA RECOMMENDATIONS Try to avoid having to take an antacid as they may create a greater risk for contracting travelers diarrhea. Take electrolytes with you in case you contract it … this will help prevent complications. Consider bringing Oregano Oil as it has great anti-microbial potential. Take Florastor 1 week before and 1 week after traveling. This is one of the only probiotics that prevents travelers diarrhea as it increases immune cells in the gut. Consider taking digestive enzymes when traveling as it will aid in fully digesting food and promoting proper pH to prevent infection. Taking echinacea can also help to prevent infection.
