Acne is rooted in the gut. It's crucial to address the root cause and eliminate all refined and concentrated carbohydrates/highly processed foods including seed oils, added sugars and artificial sweeteners, and dairy (casein, whey, lactose--all of it). Blood sugar control via adequate protein intake is foundational. If gluten free whole grains are consumed they must be organic. Nervous system dysregulation and poor detoxification are the cause of poor gut health. Working with a trained practitioner on healing modalities such as EMDR, diaphragmatic breathing, and vagus nerve exercises is recommended. The skin care products listed are natural and free of harmful toxins--a very important detail. Not touching skin and keeping products off of it can make a big difference.
