Imaging is an important tool in medicine. Over time ,however, it may have a negative cumulative impact on our cells. Here is a protocol designed to minimize the effect of radiation by increasing the anti-oxidant levels in your system. This is relevant for diagnostic imaging (x-ray, CT) but is contraindicated for therapeutic radiation. Start 1-2 weeks before planned imaging and continue for 1-2 weeks after. This protocol is indicated for XRay, CT, PET. It may also be used for plane travel or other incidental exposure to ionizing radiaition. This is protocol is contraindicated in patients treated by a radiation oncologist with with therapeutic radiation. Patients receiving MRI with contrast should use Magnesium and CoQ10- ask your provider
