FREE Breast Lumps Guide: Click Here Breast Health Support This combination of supplements packs a serious one-two punch when it comes to supporting your detox pathways and estrogen metabolism. This is for women who are not in menopause yet and have regular cycles or signs of excess estrogen (heavy bleeding, painful cramping, breast pain, cysts, fibroids, etc). Some women don't have an excess of estrogen but a lack of progesterone. Hormone testing is extremely valuable to clarify what support YOU need. Contact us at Bloom if you'd like information on testing options: gethealthy@bloomwc.com This does not replace what a 1:1 practitioner call can provide but it does cover some key foundational support you can implement for a proactive approach.

Overall, I recommend starting this support a week prior to your scan, or at least 1-2 days prior, plus at least 1 week after the scan is done, ideally 2 weeks. HEAVY METALS Heavy metals represent metallic elements with a notably high density in comparison to water. Exposure to these metals can lead to heavy metal toxicity, resulting in various adverse effects such as infertility, cancer, developmental abnormalities, cardiovascular issues, disrupted gene expression, and more. RADIATION Radiation, specifically ionizing radiation with sufficient energy to damage DNA and induce cancer, poses a significant risk. This type of radiation encompasses radon, x-rays, gamma rays, and other high-energy radiation forms. Given the toxic nature of heavy metals and radiation to the human body, I encourage thorough preparation and detoxification before and after undergoing scans to mitigate these risk factors. CONTRAST DETOX (post-MRI w/contrast of Gadolinium) Prior to, on the day of, and post-scan, take Liver Nutrients, Liposomal Glutathione and B Complex (unless you are already taking similar supplements regularly). Begin taking Ultra Binder, two capsules twice daily on an empty stomach, starting a day before the scan and continuing for at least two days after. Ensure a 1 hour gap between this binder and any other supplements or food intake and a 2 hour gap from medications. If this causes a slow in bowel movements or constipation, decrease to 1 capsule twice daily and take Magnesium Citrate powder, ColonX or Oxy-Powder (all on Fullscript) as needed to achieve at least 2 bowel movements daily. Increase hydration before and after the scan to facilitate kidney flushing. Utilize minerals and electrolytes, such as Electrolyte Synergy by Designs for Health or Optimal Electrolytes by Seeking Health - both on Fullscript here, listed below. Use gentle detoxification measures such as castor oil packs and dry brushing before, during, and after the scan. I recommend this castor oil pack over the upper right abdomen (liver/gallbladder region) for at least 1 hour per day before and after the scan. Of course more routine use is recommended for ongoing general detox purposes. If you have access to infrared sauna or Ion Detox Foot Baths you can use either one 2-3x during the week before and after the scan. Take 1 Ultra Binder capsule before each sauna session, have a cold rinse in the shower afterwards to avoid reabsorbing toxins in the skin, and take electrolytes afterwards to re-hydrate. You can do the same for the ion detox foot baths, minus the shower and electrolytes afterwards which is unnecessary. If you don't have access to infrared sauna or Ion Detox Foot Baths, I highly recommend detox baths using 2 cups of Medi-Soak (product available below) and 2 cups of baking soda in hot water for 20 minutes. Have a big cup of cold/cool water to sip on during bath as you will sweat a lot. If you feel weak or lightheaded, you can cool down the water temp or get out of the bath before 20 minutes is up. RADIATION DETOX (post-CT scan, PET scan, mammogram, or X-ray) Implement ALL of the above detox recommendations listed PLUS the following: Take S.O.D. Support (Super-Oxide Dismutase), four capsules three times a day, two days before the scan and continue for one month afterward. This equals 2 bottles worth (190 tablets per bottle) - you can order online here . Taken with or without food (with food if you have stomach upset) Optional: take 300 mg (5 capsules) of melatonin from Happy Healing Store the night before the scan. Many integrative, functional doctors have been using high-dose melatonin for cancers and melatonin is well-known for its incredible antioxidant potency, which is exactly what we need to counteract the oxidative stress from radiation. Thankfully, this is very safe and does not cause a dependency issue. Studies have found that high doses of melatonin can disrupt the progression and metastasis phases of malignant cells and halt cell division in masses (tumors). See reference links: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15582288/ and https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22753734/ ) For some, you may experience a headache, tiredness, or loose bowels, however, this was also experienced in similar levels with control groups in studies (meaning, they had these symptoms without having had any melatonin, so the melatonin group symptoms may have been coincidental and not caused by the melatonin). Detox Foods to Include/Increase Consume an antioxidant-rich diet with foods such as broccoli sprouts, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, citrus fruits, apples, onions, green tea and matcha. Include detoxifying foods like spirulina, chlorella, kelp, dulse, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cilantro, garlic, onions, wheatgrass, parsley, kale, and coconut oil in your diet.

This combination of supplements packs a serious one-two punch when it comes to supporting your detox pathways and estrogen metabolism during menopause. This is different from what we would recommend to women who are still having regular cycles, since we don't want to lower estrogen further in menopausal women with already low estrogen levels. This protocol does not replace what a 1:1 practitioner call can provide but it does cover some key foundational pieces you can implement for a proactive approach.

Please Read: Parasite Cleanse Overview This is a 60 day parasite cleanse that addresses most types of parasites, however, certain types like Blastocystis hominis can take a minimum of 3 months and sometimes up to 6 months to clear. Certain types of bacteria like H Pylori and C. difficile require a completely different approach, as do fungal overgrowth. Completing a comprehensive gut test, such as the GI Map , is highly recommended so we can understand the best way to rebalance your gut fully and if you need additional digestive supports. The GI Map also makes sure there is not an unknown bleeding issue that would indicate a need for medical evaluation before doing a parasite protocol. If you order this cleanse, you accept that we do not hold responsibility if you have any adverse reactions. "Herxheimer reactions" are common with cleanses and may include symptoms such as headache, fatigue, rash, constipation, diarrhea, bloating, and others. If you experience any of these, it's a sign that you are killing pathogens too quickly and need to increase the binder and drainage . The binder includes premium ingredients to bind to toxins like a magnet and carry them out of the body to avoid reabsorption into your system. Always take the binder at least 2 hours away from medications. Drainage Support Drainage means bowel movements, lymph support, hydration, sweating, etc. but bowel regularity is the most critical. During a gut cleanse, it's important to have 2-3 bowel movements daily . This ensures you are getting toxins out quickly enough to avoid reabsorption. If that's a challenge, you can use ColonX (1-2 capsules before bed) and if that's not enough, TUDCA (1-2 caps before bed). If you are having loose stools and urgency, you can reduce the supplement doses, increase your fiber and take more time before increasing the doses up again. Some can increase doses quickly, while others need to be more gradual. Some clients find tremendous relief and improvement by including coffee enemas or colonics (I recommend this place in Houston) during the parasite cleanse to clear out the die-off and toxic debris faster. Infrared sauna, electrolytes, dry brushing, lymph massage, foot detox baths, and rebounding/vibration plate are other methods for clearing toxins out better. Gut Repair Pre-Cleanse The first two products listed below (GI Revive and MegaIgG2000) should be started BEFORE your parasite cleanse if you are experiencing GI pain . Take for 2-4 weeks and let your gut feel better before introducing the next step. Then you can move onto the next step and pause these two products during the parasite cleanse. After you finish the 2 month parasite cleanse, take another "round" of these two supplements for 2 months to finish repairing the gut. Biofilm Disruptor After the gut is feeling calmer, introduce the Interfase supplement to begin breaking down biofilm for at least 2 weeks before starting the parasite cleanse. This is taken twice daily on an empty stomach. You must also begin taking the binder , as breaking up biofilm can release toxins and the binder will help clean that up. Always take the binder at least 2 hours away from medications. Parasite Cleanse Once you've settled the gut irritation (GI revive + MegaIgg2000), gotten bowel regularity and drainage in place, and taken the biofilm support (Interfase) for 2 weeks, you can add the following gradually: Mimosa Pudica+ in the morning before breakfast (or with breakfast if you forget to take it beforehand) - start with 1-2 capsules for a couple days, then increase to 3 capsules. Always take with a full glass of water (10+ oz) Once you are at 3 capsules of Mimosa Pudica+ in the morning, start adding in Para-X. Start with 1 capsule at lunch and 1 capsule at dinner. Do this for a few days and make sure it's not too much, too quickly. If excessive bowel movements/urgency occurs, you may want to slow down. If you're comfortable moving forward, increase to 2 capsules with lunch and 2 capsules with dinner. Once you reach full doses, stay at the full dose for 2 months to complete the parasite cleanse. Stay on the Interfase and binder throughout the whole protocol. Always take the binder at least 2 hours away from medications. Gut Repair Post-Cleanse Once you finish the 2-months at full doses, you can discontinue: Mimosa Pudica+, Para-X, Interfase, and the binder. Start taking GI Revive and MegaIgG2000 for the next couple months to repair and heal the gut post-parasite cleanse. Example Supplement Schedule (You don't have to follow this schedule exactly, as most supplements can be taken at anytime of day, so long as you follow the empty stomach or with food instructions) Phase I - Soothe the Gut (2-4 weeks) GI Revive and MegaIgG2000 - mix up with water or juice and take on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before a meal or at least 2 hours after a meal) If you have <1 bowel movement daily, you can introduce ColonX now and achieve 1-2 BMs daily prior to the parasite cleanse. Phase II - Break Up Biofilm + Binder (2 weeks) Upon waking (empty stomach): Interfase After dinner/before bed (empty stomach): Binder and Interfase (and ColonX if needed) (If taking hormones orally at bedtime, take Binder mid-day and take Interfase before bed, as the Binder needs to be away from medications) Phase III - Biofilm + Binder + Parasite Cleanse (2+ months) Upon waking (empty stomach): Interfase Breakfast: Mimosa Pudica+ Lunch: Para-X Dinner: Para-X After dinner/before bed (empty stomach): Binder and Interfase (and ColonX if needed) Phase IV: Gut Repair Post-Cleanse (2 months) GI Revive and MegaIgG2000 - mix up with water or juice and take on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before a meal or at least 2 hours after a meal) Tip : Put daily alarms on your phone as reminders to take your dose and try to "pair" supplement doses with other activities (i.e. on the nightstand for upon-waking/before bed doses, by coffee machine or fridge for with-food supplements, etc). Long-Term Gut Health Keep in mind - stress, food sensitivities, low stomach acid, poor fat digestion and other factors play a huge role in your gut health and avoiding re-infections. Things like betaine HCl, papain, pepsin, ox-bile, etc. support stomach acid levels but if taking betaine HCl hurts your stomach, this means there is more healing needed before you can improve stomach acid levels and requires a different protocol. If you have symptoms after eating fried or fatty foods, you also need bile support (ox-bile, bile factors, tudca, and/or taurine, etc) and possibly a gallbladder cleanse. Doing the GI Map test would tell us if you need to complete an H pylori protocol (specific type of bacteria), which can really impact the stomach, stomach acid levels and digestion. Chronic high stress and exposure to food sensitivities or intolerances is another way our gut health weakens and suffers. Gluten, conventional dairy, sugar, alcohol and nuts are harder on the GI system, so the less you can irritate the gut with these the better. :) If you need more help navigating all of this, please book a health consult and we can create a comprehensive game plan together!
