57 more items in GLP-1 Guide & Educational ResourceFoundational Support for Individuals Using GLP-1 Medications This document is provided as educational support to help you better understand how GLP-1 medications work and how nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and supplementation may support your body while using them. Alongside this guide, you will find a list of supplements available here in the Fullscript dispensary. That list is not intended for you to purchase every item . Instead, it acts as a resource library so you can identify what feels appropriate for your needs, goals, and budget. Think of the list as a toolbox rather than a checklist . Grab the tool(s) you need, leave the rest. Many individuals find that focusing on food first and using supplements only when needed provides the best balance. The goal of this guide is to help you customize your experience and improve your quality of life while using GLP-1 medications , especially when appetite, digestion, and food intake may change. Disclaimer: I hold a PhD in Holistic Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, and Master’s certifications in Functional and Nutritional Medicine, I use my doctorates as education to help explain the physiology behind these medications and how nutrition and lifestyle choices can support the body during this process. The information provided here is educational only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. 1. Understanding GLP-1 Medications Examples of GLP-1 or GLP-1–related medications include: • Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) • Tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) • Liraglutide (Saxenda, Victoza) • Dulaglutide (Trulicity) These medications mimic a natural hormone called GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) that is normally released from the small intestine after eating. GLP-1 performs several functions in the body: • stimulates insulin release when blood glucose rises • suppresses glucagon production • slows gastric emptying • signals fullness to the brain Because of these effects, people can often experience: • reduced appetite • improved blood sugar regulation • reduced caloric intake • gradual weight loss Clinical trials have shown significant weight loss in some individuals using GLP-1 medications. Wilding JPH et al. New England Journal of Medicine, 2021 Jastreboff AM et al. New England Journal of Medicine, 2022 2. Common Experiences and Side Effects Because GLP-1 medications change digestion and appetite signals, several side effects can occur. > Nausea: This is the most common side effect. GLP-1 medications slow stomach emptying. Food stays in the stomach longer, which can lead to fullness or nausea, particularly after larger meals. > Reduced Appetite: This is the intended effect of the medication. However, appetite suppression can sometimes make it difficult to eat enough protein, micronutrients, and calories. > Constipation: Slower digestion combined with lower food intake can reduce bowel movement frequency. > Fatigue: Lower calorie intake and electrolyte intake may contribute to fatigue. > Mood Changes: Some individuals report anxiety, low mood, or brain fog. Nearly 90 percent of serotonin is produced in the gut , and the gut microbiome plays a role in neurotransmitter production. Cryan JF et al. Physiological Reviews, 2019 3. Micronutrient Needs (Foundation First) When appetite decreases significantly, micronutrient intake becomes extremely important . If food intake drops but nutrient intake is not replaced, deficiencies may develop. Our bodies still have cellular needs! Important nutrients include: • B vitamins • magnesium • zinc • selenium • vitamin D • vitamin C • vitamin A • vitamin E Food Sources of Key Micronutrients Leafy greens (spinach, kale): 1–2 cups provides magnesium, folate, and vitamin K. Eggs: 1–2 eggs provide B vitamins and choline. Pumpkin seeds: 2 tablespoons provide zinc and magnesium. Nuts (almonds, cashews): 1 oz provides magnesium and healthy fats. Citrus fruits: 1 orange provides about 70 mg vitamin C. Bell peppers: ½ cup provides nearly a full day's vitamin C. Broccoli: 1 cup provides vitamin C and fiber. Fatty fish (salmon, sardines): 3 oz provides vitamin D and omega-3 fats. Supplement Options: More information is provided below for all supplements in this guide. Scroll to the bottom! > Multivitamins • Thorne Basic Nutrients 2/Day • Pure Encapsulations O.N.E. Gut Microbiome Support GLP-1 medications change digestive speed and food intake, which can influence the gut microbiome. The gut microbiome plays roles in: • digestion • immune function • inflammation regulation • neurotransmitter production • mood and mental health Supporting gut bacteria may help improve digestion and bowel regularity. Protein Preservation (Extremely Important) Rapid weight loss can lead to loss of lean muscle tissue , especially if protein intake is too low. Preserving our skeletal muscle tissue helps with our overall longevity and bone health as we age. This is extremely important to know when taking a GLP medication as longevity and quality of life can be impacted as we age! Lean mass can represent 25–40 percent of weight lost during aggressive dieting. Protein intake should ideally fall between 1.6–2.2 g/kg body weight. Food Sources of Protein Eggs: 1 egg provides about 6 g protein and choline from the yolk. Greek yogurt: ¾ cup provides about 15–18 g protein. Cottage cheese (if digestion can handle the dairy): ½ cup provides about 14 g protein. Chicken breast: 3 oz provides about 25 g protein. Salmon: 3 oz provides about 22 g protein along with healthy omega fatty acids. Lean beef: 3 oz provides about 24 g protein. Bone broth: 1 cup provides about 8–10 g protein and building blocks of collagen. Protein isolate or plant protein shakes and smoothies may be easier to tolerate when appetite is low. Supplement Options • Proteins: Thorne Brand Isolate and Plant Protein, Codeage Beef Isolate Protein, Titan Nutrition Isolate or Vegan Protein ( Titannutrition.net Britt20 for 20% off entire catalog) • Collagen peptides: Ancient Nutrition Multi Collagen Protein or Bone Broth Protein Resistance training helps preserve muscle during weight loss! 7. Electrolytes and Hydration Reduced food intake often leads to lower intake of sodium, potassium, and magnesium. Symptoms may include: • headaches • fatigue • dizziness • constipation Food Sources of Electrolytes > Sodium Bone broth: 1 cup provides 700–900 mg sodium. Pickles: 1–2 spears provide sodium. Sea salt: ¼ tsp provides about 575 mg sodium. > Potassium Avocado: 1 avocado provides about 700 mg potassium. Sweet potato: 1 medium provides about 540 mg potassium. Or, for convenience, you can grab the below: • BodyBio E-Lyte • Thorne Daily Electrolytes • Seeking Health Optimal Electrolytes 8. Omega-3 Fatty Acids Omega-3 fatty acids support metabolic health, skin integrity, and inflammation balance. Food Sources Salmon: 3 oz provides about 1.5–2 g EPA/DHA. Sardines: 1 tin provides about 1–1.5 g EPA/DHA. Mackerel: 3 oz provides about 1–1.5 g EPA/DHA. Chia seeds: 1 tablespoon provides about 2.5 g ALA. Flaxseed meal: 1 tablespoon provides about 2 g ALA. Walnuts: 1 oz provides about 2.5 g ALA. Supplement Options • Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega or ProOmega 2000 • Thorne Super EPA or Super EPA Pro • Pure Encapsulations EPA/DHA Essentials 9. Strategies to Reduce Nausea Smaller meals can often work better than large meals! For nutrition, we want to think “EAT THE RAINBOW,” so choose colorful foods from all the options above. Other ways to help with nausea: Cold or room-temperature foods may be easier to tolerate. Steamed or boiled foods (helps break down the food for easier digestion) Reducing heavy fat meals (fat slows digestion, but we still need healthy fats for our bodies!) Ginger tea or ginger capsules may help reduce nausea. Peppermint tea may also help calm digestion. Hydration and electrolyte replenishment remains extremely important. Start the day with water, lemon juice, and either electrolytes or ⅛-¼ tsp sea salt - a very supportive morning drink! 10. If Appetite is Extremely Low If appetite becomes very low, focus on three priorities : Protein, Hydration, and Micronutrients! Think: Protein shakes, Bone broth, Smoothies, Electrolyte drinks These can temporarily support nutrition and help with side effects until appetite improves! 11. Hair Health and Preventing Hair Loss During Rapid Weight Loss Hair loss during weight loss is usually not permanent. What most people experience is a condition called telogen effluvium , where a large number of hair follicles temporarily shift into a resting phase due to metabolic and thyroid stress, low-iron, nutrient shifts, or rapid calorie reduction. When the body senses a large drop in energy intake, it prioritizes vital organs over hair growth. Hair is pretty and we need our organs to survive! Hair follicles are metabolically active tissues, so they are sensitive to nutrient deficiencies and rapid weight changes. This type of hair shedding can often occur 2–4 months after rapid weight loss begins. Supporting hair health during this time focuses on maintaining adequate protein intake and ensuring key micronutrients are available for hair follicle growth. You’ll see a lot of these same nutrients across the board with our overall health, too! Key nutrients involved in hair health: • protein • iron • zinc • biotin • selenium • vitamin D • B vitamins • omega-3 fatty acids Food Sources That Support Hair Growth > Protein Hair is made primarily of keratin, a structural protein. Adequate protein intake is the most important factor! Eggs: 2 eggs provide about 12 g protein and biotin. Greek yogurt: ¾ cup provides about 15–18 g protein. Chicken breast: 3 oz provides about 25 g protein. Wild-Caught Salmon: 3 oz provides about 22 g protein and omega-3 fats. > Iron Iron deficiency is a common contributor to hair shedding. Red meat: 3 oz provides about 2–3 mg iron. Spinach: 1 cup cooked provides about 6 mg iron. Lentils: ½ cup cooked provides about 3 mg iron. Pumpkin seeds: 2 tablespoons provide about 2 mg iron. > Zinc Pumpkin seeds: 2 tablespoons provide about 2–3 mg zinc. Beef: 3 oz provides about 5 mg zinc. Chickpeas: ½ cup provides about 1.3 mg zinc. > Biotin Egg yolks: 1–2 eggs provide small but useful amounts of biotin. Almonds: 1 oz provides biotin and healthy fats. Sweet potatoes: 1 medium provides vitamin A, which supports scalp health. > Omega-3 fats Salmon: 3 oz provides about 1.5–2 g EPA/DHA. Sardines: 1 tin provides about 1–1.5 g EPA/DHA. Walnuts: 1 oz provides about 2.5 g ALA. Supplement Options for Hair Support (If Needed) • Thorne Basic Nutrients 2/Day • Pure Encapsulations Hair/Skin/Nails Ultra • Thorne Zinc Picolinate • Pure Encapsulations Optiferin-C (if iron deficient) or Vital Nutrients Iron Plus C • Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega 12. Gallbladder Support During Rapid Weight Loss Rapid weight loss can increase the risk of gallstones. This occurs because the gallbladder stores bile, which helps digest fats. When fat is rapidly mobilized from body stores during aggressive weight loss, the liver secretes more cholesterol into bile. If the gallbladder is not regularly contracting, bile can become concentrated and gallstones may form. This is one reason gallstones are sometimes seen during rapid weight loss programs or after bariatric surgery. Supporting gallbladder function focuses on maintaining gentle bile flow and avoiding extremely low fat intake. Food Strategies for Gallbladder Health Include moderate healthy fats daily. Fat stimulates gallbladder contraction and helps prevent bile stagnation. Olive oil: 1–2 tablespoons daily supports bile flow. Avocado: ½–1 avocado provides healthy fats and fiber. Nuts and seeds: 1 oz provides healthy fats and minerals. Fatty fish: 3 oz provides omega-3 fats. Whole eggs for choline > Bitter foods that support bile flow Arugula: 1 cup fresh greens. Dandelion greens: ½–1 cup sautéed or in salads. Radicchio: ½ cup added to salads. Artichokes: 1 medium artichoke supports bile production. > High fiber foods Fiber helps regulate bile metabolism. Chia seeds: 1 tablespoon provides about 5 g fiber. Flaxseed meal: 1 tablespoon provides about 3 g fiber. Oats: ½ cup provides soluble fiber. Beans and lentils: ½ cup provides 6–8 g fiber. Supplement Options for Gallbladder and Bile Support These are optional tools if digestion becomes sluggish. • Thorne S.A.T. (silymarin, artichoke, turmeric) • Pure Encapsulations Liver-GI Detox • Thorne Advanced Digestive Enzymes (formerly Bio-Gest) (digestive support) • Biotics Research Beta Plus Liver & Gallbladder Support (used when bile flow is impaired) TDLR: Summary for Individuals Using GLP-1 Medications If appetite becomes low while using GLP-1 medications, focus on a few foundational priorities. Prioritize protein intake to protect muscle and hair health. Ensure micronutrients are covered through food or a multivitamin. Support the gut microbiome with probiotics, fiber, fermented foods, and hydration. Include healthy fats to support hormone balance and gallbladder function. Stay hydrated and maintain electrolyte intake. Small, nutrient-dense meals often work better than large meals. 14 more items in FAT LOSS STACK & GUIDEFAT LOSS STACK & GUIDELINES *Educational Use Only This stack is designed to work synergistically. One ingredient alone will not produce dramatic fat loss. But when layered correctly (alongside proper calories, protein intake, resistance training, sleep, and cardio), these compounds complement each other to create a more favorable fat-loss environment. Think of this as strategic amplification and not replacement for fundamentals and proper habits. These products work best when combined because they influence different pieces of the same system: • Lipolysis (fat release) • Fat oxidation (fat burning) • Nervous system drive • Training output • Recovery and cortisol control When stacked properly, the effect is stronger than any single ingredient used alone. Additional note: You will sweat more! :) If you are looking for food ideas and recipes, please check out the Limitless Health and Performance shop for affordable recipe books, guides, and helpful information. https://limitlesshealthandperformance.com/shop ---- YOHIMBINE HCL (or Alpha Yohimbine / Rauwolscine) *might not be available through Fullscript Why we use it? Yohimbine blocks alpha-2 adrenergic receptors. These receptors act like brakes on fat release, especially in stubborn areas. When blocked, fat cells are more willing to release stored fatty acids, particularly in a low-insulin (fasted) state. Dose Guideline (Yohimbine HCL) 0.1–0.2 mg per kg bodyweight ≈ 0.045–0.09 mg per lb Example (150 lb athlete): 6.7–13.5 mg total Start low (5–7 mg range) and assess tolerance. Alpha Yohimbine (Rauwolscine) is my preferred yohimbine , but this one can be harder to find. It is more potent per milligram, but some experience less potential side effects with this one. Typical range: 0.5–6 mg total. Start at the lowest effective dose. Best Timing to Take: Fasted, 20–30 minutes before cardio or fasted training. Eating and insulin spikes will blunt effects of this supplement. ---- CAFFEINE Why we use it? Caffeine increases catecholamines (adrenaline/noradrenaline), improves performance, increases thermogenesis, and enhances the lipolytic environment yohimbine initiates. Dose Guideline 1–3 mg per lb bodyweight or 3–6 mg per kg Example (150 lb athlete): 150–450 mg Most perform well at 150–300 mg. More is not better. 200mg is usually a good starting place. If you enjoy coffee, you can have BLACK coffee instead of a caffeine pill, as sugar/creamer will blunt effects of the other supplements in this stack. Calculate the mg of caffeine per cup of the coffee you will use as various roasts contain different amounts of caffeine. Best Timing to Take: Pre-training or pre-cardio. Avoid within 8 hours of bedtime. Options in this list: OHM Mushroom Coffee, contains additional adaptogens which can aid focus and energy as well as the caffeine content. ---- L-CARNITINE (L-Carnitine L-Tartrate) Why we use it? Carnitine transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria for oxidation. It may also support recovery and androgen receptor density in resistance-trained individuals. Dose Guideline 1,000–3,000 mg daily Common sweet spot: 2,000 mg daily Can split AM and pre-training. *Can improve absorption when taken with carbs, however for this particular fat loss stack we do not want to eat carbs with the other supplements as it will negate the effects of the stack. You CAN take in carnitine with carb meals AWAY from the fat loss stack to help with carbohydrate metabolism. Options in this list: Codeage Liposomal Carnitine (highest absorption rate), Klaire Labs, & Jarrow ---- L-TYROSINE Why we use it? Calorie deficits increase stress and can blunt dopamine output. Tyrosine supports dopamine and norepinephrine production, helping maintain focus, drive, and training intensity. It can also be helpful for thyroid! Dose Guideline 500–2,000 mg Most do well at 500–1,000 mg pre-training. Options in this list: Biotics, Jarrow, NOW Brand ---- GREEN TEA EXTRACT (Standardized for EGCG) Why we use it? EGCG can modestly increase fat oxidation and thermogenesis. It also provides antioxidant support during dieting. Dose Guideline 300–500 mg green tea extract Standardized to ~45–60% EGCG Avoid exceeding ~800 mg EGCG daily. Best Timing to Take: Morning or pre-training. Avoid taking close to bedtime as it has the potential of affecting sleep. Options in this list: NOW Brand ECGc (200mg standardized extract per serving), Klaire Labs Green Tea Extract (250mg standardized extract per serving) ---- ASHWAGANDHA (Evening) Why we use it? Dieting and stress increases cortisol. Chronically elevated stress impairs fat loss, sleep, and recovery. Ashwagandha supports cortisol regulation and improves sleep quality, which can improve fat loss and insulin sensitivity. Dose Guideline 300–600 mg standardized extract (KSM-66 or Sensoril are the best types) Take in the evening or close to bedtime. Options in this list: KSM - Protocol for Life Balance SENSORIL - Pure Encapsulations Cortisol Balance & Integrative Therapeutics Cortisol Manager -------- Example Framework (150 lb Athlete) AM Fasted Cardio *can add 1-2,000mg L-Carnitine here for added effect • Yohimbine 7–10 mg • Caffeine 150–250 mg • Green Tea Extract 400 mg Pre-Lift • L-Tyrosine 500–1,000 mg • Caffeine adjusted if needed • L-Carnitine 1,000–2,000 mg Before Bed • Ashwagandha via KSM-66 or Sensoril 300–600 mg (Reishi mushroom or Tulsi tea can help here, too!) Optional Add-Ons Titan Nutrition Lipo Shred Titan Nutrition ( Titannutrition.net ) *separate from Fullscript For clients who prefer a pre-formulated thermogenic rather than sourcing ingredients individually, Lipo Shred combines multiple fat-loss agents into one formula for convenience. Titan Nutrition HMB HMB (beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyrate) supports muscle retention during caloric deficit. Typical Dose: 3,000 mg daily Split into 1,000 mg three times per day. 23 more items in Omega 3's & SPM GUIDEOmega-3s vs SPMs Understanding Inflammation vs Resolution Education-Only Resource | Not Medical Advice Omega-3s and SPMs are related, but they are not interchangeable . Think of them as working at different points in the inflammation timeline. Omega-3s help reduce inflammatory input. SPMs help actively turn inflammation off and resolve it. Both can be useful. The right choice depends on where the body is stuck . What’s the Difference? Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA) are essential fats that help: • Support cell membrane health • Modulate inflammatory signaling • Support cardiovascular, brain, and joint health They are raw materials the body uses to make resolution compounds, but that conversion is not guaranteed , especially under chronic stress, illness, or genetic friction. SPMs (Specialized Pro-Resolving Mediators) are end-stage signaling molecules made from omega-3s. Their job is to: • Actively shut down inflammation • Clear inflammatory debris • Signal tissue repair, tissue remodeling, and healing SPMs do not suppress inflammation, they complete the inflammatory cycle so the body can move on. CATEGORY 1: Traditional Omega-3s (EPA/DHA) Best for daily foundational support , prevention, cardiovascular health, cognition, and general inflammation balance. Softgel Omegas • EPA/DHA Essentials Straightforward EPA/DHA support for daily use. Good baseline option. • OmegaGenics® EPA-DHA 720 Fish Oil Clinically dosed, high-purity option commonly used in practice. • Omega MonoPure 1300 EC Higher potency per capsule for clients who need stronger dosing with fewer pills. • Pure Omega Ultra HP Softgels High-potency formula for increased inflammatory load, training stress, or recovery. • Omega-3, Formerly Arctic Omega (Lemon) Well-balanced EPA/DHA with a focus on freshness and taste. • OmegaGenics Neuro 1000 Fish Oil DHA-forward formula with cognitive and neurological support emphasis. Omegas with Added Functional Support • Omega-3 with CoQ10 Pairs omega-3s with mitochondrial and cardiovascular support. Good for heart health, statin use, or fatigue patterns. • ProOmega® Curcumin (formerly ProOmega CRP) Combines omega-3s with curcumin for additional inflammatory signaling support. Useful for joint pain or systemic inflammation. Plant-Based & Vegan Omegas • Ultimate Omega Plant-Based Algae-derived EPA/DHA for those avoiding fish. • Algae Omega Clean DHA/EPA support without fish allergens. • OmegaGenics® Algae Omega-3s Clinical-grade vegan omega option. Liquid Omegas • Omega Superb Lemon Berry EPA/DHA Liquid format for higher dosing flexibility or pill fatigue. • Pure Omega Liquid Unflavored liquid omega option for smoothies or sensitive palates. CATEGORY 2: Cod Liver Oil (Omegas + Vitamins A & D) These are not just omega supplements ! They also provide fat-soluble vitamins and should be used with intention. • Arctic Cod Liver Oil (Unflavored) *easy to add to smoothies, no flavor or burps! Traditional cod liver oil providing omega-3s plus vitamins A and D. • Rosita Extra Virgin Cod Liver Oil Softgels Minimally processed, whole-food sourced option with naturally occurring fat-soluble vitamins. Best for clients who: • Are deficient in vitamin D • Need immune support • Prefer traditional formulations Not ideal for high-dose omega protocols unless vitamin A intake is being monitored. CATEGORY 3: SPMs (Specialized Pro-Resolving Mediators) Best for chronic, stuck inflammation , when the body is inflamed but not resolving. *DO NOT TAKE SPMs IF PREGNANT OR TRYING TO CONCEIVE* This includes: • Autoimmune patterns • Chronic pain or joint issues • Post-injury or post-surgical recovery • Long-standing gut or tissue inflammation • “I’ve tried omega-3s and they didn’t help” cases SPMs do not replace omega-3s . They bypass the conversion step. Stand-Alone SPMs • SPM Foundational pro-resolving mediator support. • Metagenics SPM Active Higher-intensity option for active inflammatory/injury processes. • SPM Complete Broad-spectrum SPM support covering multiple resolution pathways. • Pure Encapsulations Pro-Resolving Mediators Focused resolution support for persistent inflammation. • BodyBio Resolvin Targets cellular membrane signaling and resolution at the tissue level. Combination Omega + SPM Formulas • Biomega-SPM Daily omega support paired with active resolution signaling. • Pro-Resolve Omega Balances EPA/DHA intake with SPM support—good middle ground. • QÜELL® Fish Oil Ultra SPM High-potency omega with built-in resolution support. • Ultra Pure® Vegan Omega SPM+ Plant-based omega plus SPM support for vegan clients. • Omega-3 Rejuvenate Designed for repair, recovery, and resolution rather than maintenance. How to Choose: Omega or SPM? Choose a traditional omega-3 if: • You’re looking for daily cardiovascular or brain support • Inflammation is mild or preventive • You’re early in a wellness plan Consider SPMs if: • Inflammation feels “stuck” or chronic • Pain, swelling, or immune activation lingers • Omega-3s helped a little—or not at all • Recovery feels slow despite good nutrition Many clients benefit from both , either layered together or phased strategically. Starting Tips (Very Important) • Start low and slow , especially with SPMs • Some people feel shifts quickly—this is signaling feedback • Take with food unless otherwise directed • More is not better; right timing is better Disclaimer This guide is for educational purposes only and does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. Supplement needs vary based on health status, medications, genetics, and lab data. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes.

21 more items in Multivitamin Info & GUIDEMultivitamin Navigation Guide Education-Only Resource | Not Medical Advice Multivitamins are foundational support tools, not magic pills. They help fill nutrient gaps, support metabolic demand, and create resilience under stress, training, hormonal shifts, and life. 27 more items in Probiotics & Synbiotics GUIDE>> HOW TO CHOOSE A PROBIOTIC Not all probiotics do the same job. Different strains support different systems: gut integrity, metabolic health, immune balance, vaginal health, or resilience after antibiotics. “More CFUs” does not automatically mean “better,” and starting too aggressively can backfire. Matching the probiotic to your goal matters more than chasing the biggest number on the label. –––––––––––––––– >>DISCLAIMER This information is provided for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. These products are not a substitute for medical care. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting new supplements, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, immunocompromised, or under medical supervision. –––––––––––––––– >>GO LOW & SLOW (IMPORTANT!) If you are new to probiotics, sensitive, bloated easily, or have a history of gut issues: • Start with ¼–½ of the suggested dose • Take every other day for the first 3–5 days • Gradually increase to daily, then full dose as tolerated Mild gas or stool changes can be normal early on. Sharp pain, worsening bloating, or feeling “off” is a sign to pause or reduce. –––––––––––––––– >> AKKERMANSIA & METABOLIC SUPPORT These formulas center around Akkermansia muciniphila, a beneficial gut bacterium associated with gut lining integrity, insulin sensitivity, metabolic health, and appetite signaling. >>Pendulum Akkermansia A targeted Akkermansia product for gut barrier support, metabolic health, and inflammation modulation. Often used in insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome patterns, or post-antibiotic gut rebuilding. >>Akkermansia 500 Pro A professional-grade Akkermansia option with a higher potency focus. Good for individuals already tolerating probiotics well who want a more direct metabolic and gut-lining approach. >>UltraFlora Healthy Weight with Akkermansia Combines Akkermansia with additional strains that support weight regulation, blood sugar balance, and gut diversity. A good “middle ground” option for metabolic support. >>UltraFlora Triplebiotic with Akkermansia Includes probiotics, prebiotics, and postbiotics. This is broader support for gut resilience, digestion, and immune signaling, not just weight or glucose. –––––––––––––––– >>GLP-1 & APPETITE / METABOLIC SIGNALING These are often used alongside fat loss phases, GLP-1 medications, or blood sugar support protocols. >>GLP-1 Probiotic Pro Designed to support gut-brain signaling, satiety, and metabolic communication. Useful when appetite regulation feels dysregulated. >>GLP-1 Probiotic+ Similar goal with a slightly broader formulation. Often chosen for ongoing metabolic support rather than short-term intervention. –––––––––––––––– >>WOMEN’S & VAGINAL FLORA SUPPORT These focus on Lactobacillus strains that support vaginal pH, urinary tract health, and yeast balance. >>UltraFlora Women’s Probiotic A solid foundational women’s probiotic for daily maintenance of vaginal and urinary health. >>UltraFlora Complete Women’s Probiotic A more comprehensive option with higher CFUs and broader strain diversity. Often preferred for women with recurrent issues. >>Ther-Biotic Women’s Probiotic High-quality, hypoallergenic option. Good for sensitive individuals or those reacting to fillers. *Important note for frequent UTIs or yeast infections If you struggle with recurrent yeast infections, UltraFlora Women’s or UltraFlora Complete Women’s can be a good fit. Some women also use a more localized approach during an active yeast issue by adding the contents of a capsule to organic coconut oil and applying vaginally with a tampon. This is not medical treatment, but an educational option some practitioners use for localized flora support. Always discontinue if irritation occurs. –––––––––––––––– >>GENERAL GUT, FULL-SPECTRUM PROBIOTICS, & SYNBIOTICS >>Seed DS-01 Daily Synbiotic A well-known synbiotic combining probiotics and prebiotics with a delivery system designed for colon targeting. Convenient and supportive for immune-gut connection. ––––––––––––––– >>SPORE-BASED PROBIOTICS >>MegaSporeBiotic A spore-based probiotic that survives stomach acid and colonizes differently than traditional strains. Very effective, but not a beginner product. Start extremely low and slow. >>Multi-Probiotic Spore + SBC Combines spore-based strains with Saccharomyces boulardii for gut resilience, especially post-antibiotics or during gut infections. –––––––––––––––– >>SACCHAROMYCES BOULARDII These are beneficial yeasts, not bacteria, and are especially helpful for diarrhea, antibiotic support, gut infections, and travel. >>Saccharomyces boulardii >>Saccharomyces boulardii 10 Billion Excellent for: • Antibiotic-associated diarrhea • Traveler’s diarrhea • C. diff support (adjunctive) • General gut resilience They can be taken alongside antibiotics and are often very well tolerated. –––––––––––––––– >>INFANT & CHILDREN’S PROBIOTICS >>Ther-Biotic Kids Probiotic High-quality, hypoallergenic children’s probiotic. >>UltraFlora Kids Probiotic Supports digestion and immune health in children. >>Smidge Infant Probiotic Very low-dose and minimalistic. IMPORTANT NOTE ON SCOPE OF SUPPORT This program is intentionally designed as a less hands-on, self-guided approach and is best suited for mild, straightforward cases or for individuals looking to build a strong foundational reset with guidance. If you are dealing with more complex or severe issues such as significant gut dysbiosis, SIBO, parasites, MCAS, high histamine responses, or severe food sensitivities or allergies, this approach may not provide enough individualized support. These situations often involve many moving parts and typically require closer monitoring, advanced testing, and a more aggressive or highly personalized strategy. In those cases, working one-on-one with a qualified practitioner in a more hands-on capacity is strongly recommended to ensure safety, effectiveness, and appropriate progression. This program is meant to support, educate, and empower — not replace individualized clinical care when deeper intervention is needed.
