7 more items in Detox and DrainageLooking for detox support? You're in the right place! There are three things required to efficiently discharge toxins: 1. Nutrients like vitamins, minerals and proteins Nutrients support the act of breaking down and discharging toxins. These will be things like B vitamins, magnesium, and glutathione. My favorite full spectrum "multi" is K-pax because it contains all the essential vitamins and minerals and contains key mitochondrial supports needed to turn food into useable energy. High quality protein is also essential because proteins are the signaling factors that instruct the body to carry out detox and drainage and to make energy. I love bone broth protein because its clean and well tolerated by most people (I linked 3 flavors below so you can choose what works for you). Finally, antioxidants like glutathione neutralize free-radicals so they can be packed up and discharged from the body. 2. Cellular hydration Body fluids form the highways used to transport the toxins out of important organs and eventually out of the body via stool and urine. In order to absorb water into the body we have to have proper electrolytes- potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium. I love Jigsaw electrolytes because they contain not only these essential electrolytes but also key vitamins and minerals the support our detox and drainage pathways. Hydration also ensures we move our stool several times per day. Constipation is the killer of detox, so if you suffer from this check you hydration and magnesium status (I linked my fav Magnesium supplement below if needed to help get your sluggish bowels moving). 3. Binders to pull toxins out of the body and prevent reabsorption from stool Once our liver processed the toxins and dumps them into the gut they should exit the body via stool, except thats not always what happens. Sometimes they get reabsorbed, which is why we use binders to ensure they stay put in the waste until it's ready to be eliminated. GI Detox is an excellent full spectrum binder that is well tolerated, but should be taken away from food and other supplements to prevent binding of important vitamins and minerals. Below you will find all the supplements required to fulfill these 3 criteria.
View protocolGlycine for Glyphosate Protection

I supplement glycine to help protect my body from accidental exposure to glyphosate in our food supply and environment. Benefits of Glycine include improved cognition, sense of calm, better sleep, improved muscle recovery and increased antioxidant status by increasing glutathione production (my personal fav!).
View protocolClot Buster for Healthy Blood Flow

Studies have found that using enzymes like nattokinase and lumbrokinase can help improve blood flow and prevent blood clots from forming in people who are at risk for cardiovascular disease. It may also help reduce the risk of other health problems, like deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Additionally, oxygen is able to move through the bloodstream more freely, so some people experience better energy, muscle recovery and brain function when using these supplements. In general, lumbrokinase is thought to be a stronger enzyme than nattokinase. If you are new to using enzymes, you may want to start with nattokinase and work up to using lumbrokinase over time. Since the body sometimes uses fibrin to encapsulate toxins, we want to be mindful about breaking them up slowly to ensure the body is able to safely discharge all released toxins. If you are in need of detox and drainage support to assist in this process, check out my free detox guide and protocol HERE . As always, the decision to begin a new supplement routine is best made after having a conversation with your doctor about your specific needs.
View protocolMy Favorite Multi

Generally Im not a big fan of one-size-fits-all supplements, but I get that occasionally you might need a good multi to fill the gaps in a diet or to supplement a detox program. Here are my two favorite options. O.N.E. is a souped up basic multi that contains all the general vitamin and mineral players in the highest quality, most active form that will give you the best bang-for-your-buck. It also has a nice antioxidant boost package that helps everything work a little better. K-PAX is my all round favorite everything in a bottle supplement. It contains your basic vitamins and minerals, but also has tons of mitochondrial support. Your mitochondria are you energy generators so supporting them with cofactors like NAC, CoQ10, ALA, Carnitine and more is essential for anyone going through an intensive detox or immune boost protocol that taxes your energy. Be sure to take your multi vitamins with a meal for maximal absorption!
