    Mastitis is inflammation of the breast tissue that can sometimes involve an infection and can come on fast. Some signs and symptoms include breast pain, swelling, warmth, redness, feeling ill, breast lump, pain or burning sensation continually or while nursing/pumping, fever, and chills. There is no one-size-fits-all solution or appearance of it, so always consult a trusted healthcare provider. Below is a protocol that many have found helpful. Be sure to always have the products on hand since treating it early is beneficial. Protocol: If possible clear your schedule for the next 3 days to rest and nurse baby Echinacea+Goldenseal & Probiotic: every 1 hour on day 1, every 2 hours on day 2, every 3 hours on day 3, then 4x a day for the rest of the week Legendairy Milk Sunflower Lecithin (follow directions on bottle, can take daily to prevent plugged ducts) Massage breasts in a hot shower with garlic oil, lavender essential oil from either Young Living or DoTerra Garlic supplement internally (2 options were provided, choose whichever you prefer) Ice in between breast and warmth on the outside of breast, massage and keep milk moving Ibuprofen every 6hrs for 24hrs (optional) ASK FOR HELP AND REST
