Iron Rebuild

Iron Rebuild resource 1Foundational Iron Rebuilding Protocol A Food-First Approach to Supporting Healthy Iron Levels Eva Therapeutic Well-Being LLC Iron is essential for energy production, oxygen transport, brain function, and overall well-being. When iron levels are low, you may experience fatigue, hair shedding, weakness, poor concentration, and difficulty maintaining energy. My approach focuses on nourishing your body with whole foods, supporting digestive health, and providing the foundational nutrients needed for healthy iron absorption and red blood cell production. 1. Start With Gut Health Before beginning this protocol, you may want to consider completing my Foundational Gut Healing Protocol . Your digestive system plays an important role in breaking down food and absorbing iron, vitamin B12, folate, and other essential nutrients. If you're experiencing digestive issues, inflammation, intestinal damage, or poor nutrient absorption, simply increasing your intake of iron-rich foods may not be enough. My Foundational Gut Healing Protocol focuses on supporting digestion and intestinal health to create a better foundation for nutrient absorption. Remember, it's not just about what you're eating. It's also about what your body can absorb and utilize. You can work on gut health alongside this protocol. If you have diagnosed iron-deficiency anemia, don't delay necessary iron treatment while completing a gut protocol. 2. Foundational Nutritional Support These products are available through my Fullscript recommendations. Adrenal Cocktail Powder Provides vitamin C, sodium, and potassium to support hydration and normal cellular function. Vitamin C helps improve the absorption of iron from plant-based foods. Follow the product's serving directions. Enjoy with breakfast or lunch. Mix into water or orange juice. Codeage Grass-Fed Beef Organs Provides whole-food nutrients naturally found in beef organs, including iron, vitamin B12, and copper, which are important for healthy red blood cell production. Follow the product's serving directions. Take with a meal. Use alongside iron-rich foods rather than as your only iron source. Perelel Collagen + Defense Contains 10 grams of bovine collagen peptides and 250 mg of lactoferrin per scoop. Lactoferrin is a naturally occurring iron-binding protein involved in iron regulation and immune function. Research suggests it may help improve iron markers in some individuals. Mix one scoop daily into your favorite beverage. Provides collagen peptides for connective tissue support. Avoid if you have a cow's milk protein allergy. 3. Food First: Nourishing Your Iron Stores Focus on eating iron-rich, nutrient-dense foods consistently throughout the week. Animal-Based Iron Sources Grass-fed beef, steak, and ground beef Lamb Dark meat chicken and turkey Sardines, oysters, and mussels Small portions of beef liver occasionally Animal foods contain heme iron, which is generally easier for the body to absorb than plant-based iron. Plant-Based Iron Sources Lentils and beans Pumpkin seeds Cooked spinach and leafy greens Quinoa Iron-fortified gluten-free grains Vitamin C-Rich Foods Vitamin C helps your body absorb non-heme iron. Oranges and citrus fruits Strawberries Kiwi Bell peppers Broccoli Potatoes Try pairing iron-rich foods with vitamin C at meals. 4. Simple Adrenal Cocktail Recipes These drinks provide hydration, vitamin C, and minerals. They complement your nutrition plan but do not directly replace iron. Classic Adrenal Cocktail 4–6 oz orange juice ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar Small pinch of mineral or iodized salt Mix well and enjoy with breakfast or lunch. Coconut Water Adrenal Cocktail 4 oz orange juice 4 oz coconut water Small pinch of mineral salt Squeeze of fresh lemon Mix and enjoy. Easy Adrenal Cocktail Powder 1 serving adrenal cocktail powder 6–8 oz water Splash of orange juice, optional Mix well and enjoy. Choose one option rather than combining multiple mineral drinks. Potassium-rich drinks may not be appropriate for people with kidney disease or those taking medications that increase potassium. 5. Simple Ways to Improve Iron Absorption and Support Healthy Iron Levels Eat regular, balanced meals. Your body needs adequate calories, protein, and nutrients to support healthy red blood cell production. Include iron-rich foods daily. Focus on grass-fed beef, lamb, dark poultry meat, seafood, beans, lentils, and leafy greens. Pair iron-rich foods with vitamin C. Citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwi, and bell peppers help improve the absorption of plant-based iron. Be mindful of coffee and tea. Enjoy coffee and black tea between meals rather than with your main iron-rich meals, as they can interfere with iron absorption. Separate calcium supplements from iron-rich meals. Calcium can temporarily reduce iron absorption when consumed together. Get natural morning and late-afternoon sunlight. One of the simplest foundational practices is spending time outdoors each morning and again later in the afternoon. Natural daylight entering your eyes helps regulate your circadian rhythm, supporting healthy sleep-wake cycles, melatonin timing, and hormonal signaling. These processes are important for overall metabolic health and recovery. While sunlight has not been proven to directly increase iron absorption, it can support the body's broader physiological foundations. Allow natural daylight into your eyes without sunglasses when comfortable and safe. Never stare directly at the sun. You do not need to look toward the sun to receive the benefits of outdoor daylight. Support your digestive system. Focus on warm, nourishing, whole-food meals and consider my Foundational Gut Healing Protocol if digestive concerns or poor absorption are contributing to low nutrient levels. Avoid chronic undereating. Your body needs adequate nourishment to support healthy blood cell production, energy, and recovery. 6. Easy Iron-Rich Meal Ideas Breakfast: Eggs, sautéed greens, potatoes, and fresh fruit. Lunch: Ground beef bowl with rice, roasted peppers, and vegetables. Dinner: Slow-cooked beef stew with potatoes, carrots, and broth. Another option: Lentil soup with tomatoes, vegetables, and a side of citrus fruit. Snacks: Pumpkin seeds, strawberries, or hummus with bell peppers. Keep meals simple. Consistency matters more than perfection. 7. Monitoring Your Iron Levels Rebuilding iron stores takes time. Consider reassessing your ferritin approximately 6–8 weeks after beginning this protocol. For a Comprehensive Iron Evaluation If you have consistently low ferritin, significant fatigue, anemia, or difficulty rebuilding your iron stores, consider asking your healthcare provider for: Ferritin: Evaluates stored iron. Serum Iron: Measures circulating iron. TIBC: Evaluates iron-binding capacity. Transferrin Saturation: Helps assess iron availability. Complete Blood Count (CBC): Evaluates hemoglobin, hematocrit, and red blood cell health. It's also important to identify why iron stores are low, especially with heavy menstrual bleeding, gastrointestinal concerns, or chronic inflammation. Affordable Ferritin Monitoring Through RYTHM If you're looking for a convenient, lower-cost way to monitor ferritin over time, RYTHM Blood Testing may be a helpful option. RYTHM is not a complete iron panel, but it does measure ferritin along with several other health markers, including vitamin D, ApoB, and metabolic markers. Save $20 on RYTHM Blood Testing using my link: https://rythm.health/evadelsh This can be an accessible way to track your ferritin without repeatedly purchasing a comprehensive blood panel. If you have significant iron deficiency or anemia, food-based support and these products may not provide enough iron to correct the deficiency on their own. The Return to Joy Connection Healing doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. Start by nourishing your body with real food, supporting your digestive system, getting adequate rest, spending time in natural sunlight, and creating consistent daily routines. Your body needs the right building blocks to restore and maintain healthy function. Nourish first. Restore your foundations. Give your body what it needs. True healing begins when we allow ourselves to return to joy — the body's natural rhythm. Eva Dawson, OTR/L, CMLDT Eva Therapeutic Well-Being LLC

Liver Gallbladder Flush

2 more items in Liver Gallbladder FlushThis can be done at any time but would be excellent to complete prior to any parasite cleanse. This will help remove liver or gallbladder stones, improve bile flow and improve any liver stagnation. Please make sure if you do this cleanse you are able to be at home. It is extremely intense. I highly advise drinking plenty of fluids afterwards and re-mineralizing afterwards with trace minerals. Below are Global Healing's instructions for the Liver Cleanse. You may need less than what is recommended for the Oxy Powder so proceed with caution. Drinking tart cherry juice 3 to 4oz per day and 2 oz daily of apple cider vinegar are also very beneficial. You will also need fresh squeezed grapefruit juice or orange juice for the day of the flush (also store bought organic ok). I also highly recommend doing a castor oil pack every day of your cleanse to assist the liver in expelling toxins. If you have a gallbladder stone please consult with a doctor before cleansing. The Liver Cleanse Program is an all-natural, 6-day plan to cleanse and rejuvenate the liver and gallbladder. This complete program involves following a healthy diet and taking liver-support supplements to stimulate the liver and soften buildup, followed by a flush that will purge toxins from the liver and gallbladder.* What’s In Your Kit Liver Health 1 Bottle, 2 oz Cleanses the liver Turmeric 1 Bottle, 2 oz Provides antioxidant support Oxy-Powder® 1 Bottle, 60 capsules Promotes toxin elimination Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 Bottle, 6 oz Stimulates bile production Epsom Salt 1 Packet, 1 tablespoon Relaxes the bile ducts to help flush the liver Suggested Use: Days 1-4: Prep For the first four days, take 5 ml of Liver Health and 5 ml of Turmeric three times per day between meals. That is a total of 15 ml of Liver Health and 15 ml of Turmeric every day. Take the first serving in the morning, the second in the afternoon, and the last before or after your evening meal. Make sure to take them at least 30 minutes to one hour apart from food. Take 4 capsules of Oxy-Powder in the evening at least two hours after your last meal before bed. During this time, you’ll use all of the Liver Health and Turmeric. Day 5: Pre-Flush Morning & Afternoon The last four days were preparation and you will not take Liver Health, Turmeric, or Oxy-Powder today. Keep your meals light. For best results, eat only fruit today. Stop eating at least two hours before consuming the Epsom salt and olive oil this evening. Evening Two to three hours before you go to bed, mix the entire packet of Epsom salt in 8 ounces of warm water and drink it immediately. Two hours after taking the Epsom salt, drink the entire bottle of olive oil. Many people find that drinking the olive oil is the most difficult part of this cleanse. Here are a couple suggestions to make it easier: • Refrigerate for at least four hours prior to ingestion. • Combine 4 ounces of fresh grapefruit juice or orange juice with olive oil and shake until well mixed. Day 6: Flush Morning Take 6 capsules of Oxy-Powder immediately upon waking to help your body flush the toxins that were released from your liver and gallbladder during the night. Do not eat for one to two hours after taking Oxy-Powder. You may experience increased urination and loose stools, both of which are a normal part of the cleansing process.* Take it easy and continue to follow the Body Cleansing Diet — consider using this as a starting point to continue to improve your diet and eat healthy after your cleanse. Most importantly, allow yourself time to rest. *During the flush, you may or may not see waste materials released by your liver and gallbladder. Keep in mind that everyone is different and the results of your cleanse depend on your diet and lifestyle.
Minerals of Joy

4 more items in Minerals of JoyMinerals of Joy 🌿 Mineralize • Hydrate • Soak + Restore Minerals are foundational to nearly every process in the body. They support hydration, muscles and nerves, energy production, bone health, and normal cellular function. But when it comes to minerals, more is not always better. I created my Minerals of Joy collection as a simple way to give you options for incorporating more mineral support into your everyday life. You do not need to use every product in this collection. These are simply some of my favorite options. Choose the ones that best fit your needs and your daily routine. For more individualized mineral recommendations, I recommend testing rather than guessing. An HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) can help us look more closely at mineral patterns and determine where more targeted support may be appropriate. 🌿 MINERALIZE Biotics Research Multi-Mins™ Iron & Copper Free This is one of my favorite basic multiminerals because it provides a broad range of essential and trace minerals without automatically adding supplemental iron or copper. This can be used as a simple daily mineral foundation for someone who wants a broad-spectrum mineral supplement rather than taking many individual minerals. How to incorporate it: Take with food according to the product directions or the individualized recommendations I've given you. You don't necessarily need this in addition to every other oral mineral product in this collection. Think of it as one option for creating a mineral foundation. --- BodyBio Remineralize Macro + Trace Minerals This is an easy liquid option for adding macro and trace minerals to your day. I especially like liquid minerals because they can simply become part of something you're already doing—drinking water. How to incorporate it: Add the recommended amount to your water and sip throughout the day. Start gradually according to the product directions, especially if you're new to concentrated mineral drops. This is an easy way to mineralize your water without adding another capsule to your routine. 💧 HYDRATE Jigsaw Health Adrenal Cocktail Powder The adrenal cocktail is one of my favorite ways to support mineral-rich hydration. It provides key nutrients including sodium and potassium along with whole-food vitamin C, which can be particularly useful as part of a morning or afternoon hydration routine. How to incorporate it: Mix the recommended serving into water or another beverage and enjoy once daily as desired. I often like an adrenal cocktail earlier in the day or during that afternoon period when energy and hydration can start to dip. You can also make your own adrenal cocktail using orange juice, potassium-rich ingredients, salt, and whole-food vitamin C. --- Biotics Research Electrolyte Forte Electrolytes help maintain fluid balance and support normal nerve and muscle function. Electrolyte Forte provides minerals including magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, chloride and phosphorus, along with taurine and vitamin C. How to incorporate it: Add it to your water according to the label directions. It can be especially nice on active days, warm days, after sweating, or anytime you want something more mineral-rich than plain water. You don't necessarily need an adrenal cocktail and an electrolyte every day. These are two different options for adding mineral-rich hydration to your routine. 🛁 SOAK + RESTORE NOW 100% Pure Magnesium Flakes Mineral support doesn't always have to mean swallowing another supplement. A warm magnesium bath or foot soak can also become a beautiful part of a nighttime relaxation routine. How to incorporate it: Add the magnesium flakes to a warm bath according to the package directions and soak. If you don't have time for a full bath, try a warm magnesium foot soak instead. I especially love pairing this with a slower evening—dim the lights, put the phone away, breathe, and give your nervous system an opportunity to settle. --- Jigsaw Health MagRelief Lotion Magnesium lotion provides another convenient topical option and is especially easy to incorporate into an evening routine. How to incorporate it: Massage the lotion into the skin according to the product directions. Many people enjoy applying magnesium lotion to the legs, feet, shoulders, or other areas after a shower or before bed. You don't necessarily need both magnesium flakes and magnesium lotion. Choose whichever ritual works best for you—or alternate between them. 🌺 SIP + NOURISH Buddha Teas Hibiscus Tea Minerals don't only come from supplements. Plants contain naturally occurring minerals and phytonutrients, and herbal tea is one gentle way to bring more plant nourishment into your day. Hibiscus makes a beautiful caffeine-free tea and contains naturally occurring plant compounds along with small amounts of minerals. I included it as a reminder that supporting mineral status can also be about the foods and plants we regularly consume—not simply taking more supplements. How to incorporate it: Steep according to the package directions and enjoy hot or iced. It can become an afternoon mineral ritual, an alternative to another cup of coffee, or simply another enjoyable way to increase your fluid intake. ✨ Build Your Own Minerals of Joy Routine This does not need to be complicated. Your routine might be as simple as: Morning: Mineralize your water with BodyBio minerals. Mid-morning or afternoon: Enjoy an adrenal cocktail or Electrolyte Forte. Throughout the day: Eat mineral-rich whole foods and enjoy hibiscus tea. With a meal: Use Multi-Mins if a broad-spectrum multimineral is appropriate for you. Evening: Take a magnesium bath, do a foot soak, or use magnesium lotion as part of your wind-down routine. The goal isn't to do everything. Mineralize. Hydrate. Nourish. Soak. Restore. Small daily practices add up. The more we can bring nourishment into the things we're already doing—drinking water, eating, bathing, resting—the less wellness has to feel like another job. True healing begins when we allow ourselves to return to joy — the body's natural rhythm. Individual mineral needs vary. Certain health conditions and medications can affect electrolyte and mineral needs, so individualized recommendations may be appropriate. If you want to understand your own mineral patterns rather than guessing, HTMA testing is available through Eva Therapeutic Well-Being.
Return to Joy Foundations: Occasional Constipation

Optional Support for Occasional Constipation If you experience occasional constipation while working through your gut healing, liver healing, or drainage protocols, I often recommend Global Healing Oxy-Powder as needed. Oxy-Powder contains oxygenated (ozonated) magnesium, which works differently than many traditional magnesium supplements. Rather than simply pulling water into the bowel, it helps release oxygen within the digestive tract while supporting healthy, comfortable bowel movements. I generally do not recommend using magnesium supplements solely for constipation , as I prefer my patients to take magnesium for its many important roles in cellular health, muscle function, nervous system support, and sleep—not because their body becomes dependent on it for bowel movements. Instead, I recommend starting with 1 capsule of Oxy-Powder before bed , along with plenty of water. Do not follow the cleansing directions on the bottle , as those instructions are intended for a short-term colon cleanse. For most people working through a healing protocol, a much lower dose is all that is needed to gently support occasional constipation. If necessary, the dose can be increased slowly under the guidance of your healthcare practitioner. The goal is simply to keep stool soft and bowel movements regular while your body heals—not to create frequent cleansing or diarrhea. As digestion, liver function, hydration, mineral status, and the gut microbiome improve, many people find they need Oxy-Powder less often.
